Located at 103 Kelly Mill Road.
Built in 1891, the home shows the architectural styling of a New South cottage Bungalow with Queen Anne elements. The Bell House, named after Hiram Bell, is one of Forsyth County’s famous historical figures.
Many sources describe Hiram Bell as a lawyer, teacher, political leader, speaker, Civil War soldier, and author. Bell was a political leader in the Confederate Congress and later served as Senator of the 39th District of GA. After the Bell family, Mr. and Mrs. Kirby Kemp owned the cottage. Mrs. Kemp lived there until her death in 1984. It served as a coffee shop in the early 21st century, but currently lies vacant.
