Built in 1887, Henry and Mamie Hudson Foster lived in this house until 1911.  Henry served as Sheriff of Cumming for 2 years and he owned the general store. George Washington Heard presided in the house after the Fosters. In 1990, Amanda Hamby Davis and Patricia Hamby renovated the historic home and turned it into a restaurant and wedding venue.The building's architecture is a mixture of Folk Victorian set within a New South Cottage.
